The Course

This event takes all of Duluth’s major bragging points and incorporates them into one race. Participants start above Hawk’s Ridge, taking in all of the beautiful fall colors and Lake Superior Views that the Skyline has to offer.  Next, participants traverse along Hawk’s Ridge to Seven Bridges Road. Miles 1 to 3 are on hard packed gravel. All other sections of the course are on blacktop. Following Seven Bridges Road, participants “Bridge the Gap” with a fun descent from the Skyline to the waterline. The second half of course runs along the lake walk following the Lake Superior Shoreline to the finish in Leif Erickson Park.

race day info

Athletes are encouraged to take a shuttle to the start line. Shuttle information and pick up times will be available here in May 2021. Race day includes a fun filled and well supported event.

Race day COVID restrictions and safety protocols may still be in place during the event. We anticipate a normal running event without restrictions but will err on the side of caution for the safety of all athletes.

Finishers will be welcomed to a party inside Leif Erickson Park where they will earn their custom engraved event necklace.

We encourage all athletes to park in either of the following locations and take the shuttle to the start: • The Rose Garden Parking Lot • Along the side of the road on London Road • Meters on Superior Street

the entrepreneur fund

We see our race as an opportunity to Bridge the Gap. Through the help of the Entrepreneur Fund (501 C3) and the Women’s Business Alliance we’ve created a Bridging the Gap fund that will provide free business services and access to financial resources. A portion of the proceeds from this event go to that fund.
